How Do I Block My Caller ID on a Blackberry Curve?

The BlackBerry Curve is a smart phone with numerous features such as caller ID and the ability to hide your identity when making phone calls. Hiding your identity can be useful if you don’t feel comfortable giving out your phone number when calling people. When the feature is enabled the people you are calling will receive your ID as “Unknown.”

    Press the green call button to open your caller list.

    Press the "BlackBerry Menu" button to open a drop down menu with additional options.

    Select "Options" from the menu. This opens a new menu.

    Select "General Options" from the menu list.

    Scroll to "Restrict My Identity" and click the trackball and select "Yes."

  6. 6

    Press the red disconnect button and confirm that you'd like to save changes.
