Proxy blockers are responsible for blocking websites that are filtered through keywords. Proxy blockers are most commonly used at workplaces at libraries. Proxies are used in order to protect the server and other computer components from harmful website and files being downloaded. As websites pass through the proxy blocking keyword system, a safe website may accidentally be blocked. To access safe and allowable websites blocked by a proxy, there are many proxy unblocking websites that are used as a portal to the safe site.

    Open your Internet browser by double-clicking on the appropriate desktop icon. Allow the home page to load.

    Type into the address bar and hit “Enter.” Allow the website to load, which is a web proxy unblocking site. If you prefer to use a different web proxy unblocker, there are many capable of unblocking web proxies.

    Enter the web address currently blocked by the proxy in the text box located in the middle of the page. Click “Browse" and allow the blocked website to load. Repeat this process for any website blocked by the enabled proxies.
