The BlackBerry Pearl is a widely used smartphone that offers a variety of applications, ranging from an innovative keyboard to Wi-Fi. However, a feature that the BlackBerry Pearl does not have built in is a device to records calls. Although call recording is not available on the phone, you can download the application "Berry Record" to record your calls.

    Log on to your computer, and download Berry Record for £1.90, as of December 2010 (see Resources).

    Open Berry Record on your Blackberry by touching the "Blackberry" button, navigating to "Berry Record" and pressing the scroll button to open.

  3. 3

    Click the menu button and click on "Record Notes" while you are on a call, and the call will be recorded.

  4. 4

    Click "Stop Record Notes" when you have completed your call.
