Microsoft offers several products and services to which you can subscribe, such as Zune, Xbox Live and MSN TV2, formerly known as WebTV. In order to subscribe to these services, you must provide a form of payment such as a credit card or prepaid Hotmail PIN to pay for your subscription. If you no longer want to use the credit card to which your Microsoft Billing payments are applied, you can change your payment method to remove the current credit card.

Log into the Microsoft Billing site using your Windows Live ID and password.
Select the payment from which you want to remove a credit card under "Your Payment Methods."
Click on "Go to Payment Method Information" beneath "Payment Method Activity." The payment method information for your account will open.
Select "Use a Different Payment Method." Click on "Add a New Credit Card" and then click "Next."
Confirm the balances and accounts you want to transfer to a new payment method and click "Next." Enter the details of your new payment method, such as card number and expiration date. Click the "Save" button to remove your previous credit card and add the new one.
