How to Extend Wallpaper Over Two Screens in Windows 7

Using two monitors for one computer greatly increases your computer workspace. With two monitors, by default your desktop wallpaper will be duplicated in the second monitor. But Windows 7 provides a way to have the desktop wallpaper stretch across the two monitors. This can make images such as landscapes look extraordinary.

    Right-click on your desktop background and select "Personalize."

    Click on "Desktop Background."

    Select a background image that is as wide as the combined resolution of both your monitors. In other words, if each monitor is 1024x768, then you will need a background image that is at least 2048x1536.

    Select "Tile" from the drop-down menu under "Picture Position."

    Click on "OK."
