Updated February 21, 2017

Samsung phones are known for their sleek and innovative designs as well as their cutting-edge technology. Nevertheless, even with the best technology there is no avoiding human error. If you deleted your call logs and then need to retrieve a number that's been deleted, don't worry: There is a way to get them back with the right tools.

Get a tool for forensic cell phone analysis. Two products that you might consider are the CSI Stick and the Cell Phone Spy Elite.

Install the software that came with your package by inserting the CD-ROM into the drive on your computer and following the directions.

Retrieve the call logs and other data with the Cell Phone Spy Elite by removing the SIM card and plugging it into the reading device. The CSI Stick will plug directly into your cell phone and you will simply press a button to download the data.

Plug the device into your computer through the USB port.

Open up the software that you installed earlier by going to the “Start” menu on your computer and selecting the program.

Go to “File” and “View Call Logs.” A list of all available call logs will be made available in the right-pane of the program. The deleted ones will be in red. Simply right click on it and choose “Undelete.”
