The wiper blades on your Saab increase your visibility in wet conditions or inclement weather. Wiper blades that are worn, damaged or improperly functioning can hinder your ability to see when on the road and increase your risk of accidents. You can remove the wiper blades from your Saab in a few minutes time with no tools required. Replacement blades can be purchased from auto parts retailers and major department stores with an automotive department.

Instructions

  1. 1

Lift the wiper arm up off of the windshield. Grasp the wiper blade assembly and locate the catch which secures the blade to the wiper arm.

  2. 2

Press in on the plastic catch securing the wiper blade to the wiper arm. Slide the wiper blade downward to free it from the catch.

  3. 3

Slide the wiper blade out from the wiper arm. The blade will slide straight out and free from the arm.

  4. 4

Place a soft cloth between the wiper arm and the windshield glass if you have to lay the wiper arm back against the glass prior to reinstalling a wiper blade. Repeat the process on the other side of the vehicle if you need to remove both blades.
