Vuze is a torrent client that downloads and reassembles torrent files at your request. When downloading the Vuze software, like many other software programs, you have the option to also install additional features like a Vuze search bar. Many people often rush through the install process without realising that they had the option to refuse this add-on, or they realise after they have added it that they no longer want the search bar. Close all web browsers, including those that don't have Vuze.
Go to the "Start" menu and select the "Control Panel."
Select the "Add or Remove Programs" option.
Browse the list of programs until you find the file name "Vuze.com Bar," then hit the "Remove" button right next to it.
Follow the uninstall prompts. Once the uninstallation is complete, you can reopen your web browser. If you still see the Vuze toolbar, you need to restart your computer for the uninstall process to complete.
Close all current web browsers.
Navigate to "Finder," click on "Applications" and select "Toolbars."
Click on the "Vuze" folder to open it.
Double-click on "Uninstall" and follow the uninstall prompts. Reopen your web browser. If Vuze is still there, you may need to restart your computer to complete the uninstallation process.
