Since the revolution of the MacBook and other Mac computers, Apple has made its products user-friendly with Microsoft Office suites. However, some of its iWork software, such as Pages, needs an additional step or two to open the document in Word. This will enable the user to access files on both a Mac and a PC.
Open the document in Pages you want to be able to open in Word.
Click on "File" from the Menu bar.
Select "Export" from the drop-down menu that appears.
Choose "Word" on the new window that appears and then press "Next."
Decide where you want your new file to be saved on your computer. Click "Export" once you've selected your location.
