Microsoft Office 2007 comes in several different suites, each including different programs. The Home and Student Suite is the basic package and contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The Ultimate is the top-of-the-line suite and includes everything contained in the Home and Student Suite along with Outlook, Access, Publisher, Groove and Infopath. The best way to download Office 2007 is to download the free trial version, good for 60 days or 25 uses, then convert the trial product to the full product once the free trial is over.

Visit You will see an option that will allow you to download a free trial of Microsoft Office Professional 2007. This suite includes Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and Word.

Click on the "Download Free Trial" button. This will take you to a page with more information about the product.

Select "English" as your language (there are no other options for the free trial) and click on "Download Now."

You will be prompted to create an account by entering your e-mail address, first and last names and country/region.

Click the "Download Now!" button to begin downloading your product. This page should also display a 25-digit Microsoft Office Product Key that you will need to activate your free trial.

When your free trial ends in 60 days or 25 uses, you will be prompted to convert the trial product to the full version. You can do this either online or by purchasing a hard copy of Office.
