These days, many of us use our computers to store digital photographs and other vital files, so it is important for computer users to know how to find and organise those files. If you have hundreds of photographs on your computer, knowing how to find those files in a snap will make it easier to organise your favourite prints.
Log on to your computer and click on the "Start" button. Choose "Search" or "Start Search" (depending on your version of Windows) from the menu.
Click on "Files and Folders" and then "All Files and Folders" if you had a "Search" box in Step 1; if not, skip to Step 3. Make sure the source is set to your hard drive.
Type "*.jpg" in the search box and click "OK." Your computer will begin to search through your entire hard drive in search of all image files.
