How to Recover the Navigation Pane in Outlook

The Navigation Pane in Outlook allows you to switch easily between the different functions of the program. It contains categories for your email, contacts, calendars and tasks. The Navigation Pane appears as a vertical column on the left side of the Outlook window and can be hidden from view. If you have disabled the Navigation Pane, it only takes a minute to restore it.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Launch Outlook.

  2. Step 2

    Click "View" and select "Navigation Pane."

  3. Step 3

    Click "Normal." The Navigation Pane will be restored in its default position on the left side of your screen.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can easily toggle the Navigation Pane by pressing "Alt" and "F1" at the same time.
