How to Install Skins on Virtual DJ

Updated February 21, 2017

It's pretty easy to install a skin to Virtual DJ. All you will need is to place the skin into the correct folder and the DJ will pretty much do the rest. Virtual DJ has about 10 skins that you can choose from when you first download it. These skins don't differ too much, so your best bet is to search for a new skin on Virtual DJ's website.

Find a skin you want to install. Virtual DJ has a skin library at where you can find hundreds of skin designs. The skins aren't installed on the Virtual DJ program. They are located on the website. You can use a skin that is already installed on Virtual DJ but there will only be 10 options to choose from.

Click on the skin you want to download.

Move the skin into your Virtual DJ skin's folder. Your Virtual DJ will probably be listed in your "My Documents" folder. If you click on the program, you will see a few folders, one of them being "Skins." Open the folder and drag your downloaded skin into it.

Double-click on the file. This will install it to the DJ's database.

Open your Virtual DJ software and click on "Config." The tab will be in the top right corner of the program. Under the "Skins" tab, click on the skin you want to install. This will install your skin to your DJ.
