Several Sony HD devices, such as Blu-ray players and HDTVs, have the ability to connect to Netflix. Netflix is a subscription-based DVD-delivery service that also allows you to watch popular movies and TV shows by streaming them to a Netflix Ready Device (NRD).
In order to connect to Netflix on your Sony HD device, you must first register your HD player with both Netflix and the Sony Essentials service. Once you have registered, you can connect your Blu-ray player or HDTV to the Internet and begin streaming from your Netflix Instant Queue.
