How to Convert QuickBooks Versions

QuickBooks is a business accounting software suite produced by Intuit. First released in the late 1980s, QuickBooks is marketed as an alternative to Quicken that is accessible and easy to use. Converting from one version of QuickBooks to another is a very simple process that takes only a few minutes to complete.

Navigate to the QuickBooks Conversion Tool download page linked in the Resources section below.

Download the latest version of the conversion tool for your operating system.

Run the installer file, and install the conversion tool to your local desktop.

Run the conversion tool.

Read the on-screen prompt. Select the items you wish to convert, then simply click "OK", and the program will automate the rest of the conversion. A notification window will appear when your conversion is complete.
