Things you need
- Desktop publishing software (optional)
- Word processing software (optional)
- Two-fold brochure paper
Open the software you want to use to design your twofold brochure. Microsoft Word and OpenOffice Write are two popular word processors that have twofold brochure template, while Serif PagePlus and Scribus are free desktop publishing programs.
Go to "File," click the "New" option and choose "Templates." Browse through the "Brochure" template category and click on the twofold brochure template to open it. The template will have generic text and graphics as placeholders to let you see how your finished brochure will look.
Right-click and drag your mouse to select the text you want to replace, then delete the text and type your own in its place. To change the font, select the text you want to change, go to the "Edit" menu and choose "Font."
Click on the images in the template brochure and press "Delete" on your keyboard, then go to the "Insert" menu and select the "Picture" option. Browse to the location where your images are stored, and click the picture to insert it into your brochure.
Save your brochure under the file menu. If you will be using the same template with minor changes in the future, consider saving the brochure as a template by choosing the "Save As" command from the "File" menu and selecting the "Template" option.
Print the document on twofold brochure paper.
