Many people use cellphone and smartphone SMS text messaging for instant communication with friends, family and co-workers. The Apple iPhone's text message client displays a preview of received text messages on the display screen each time it receives a new message. If you leave your iPhone on a desk or table during business or social meetings, other people may be tempted to sneak a peek at your messages when they flash up on the phone's display screen. You can prevent this by changing the message preview options in the iPhone's "Settings" menu.
