K9 Web Protection is a web-filtering program that enables you to set limitations on content users have access to on your computer. It allows you to block objectionable content, such as pornography, guns and alcohol. If you are not using K9 or plan on using a different web-filtering product, you can uninstall it and remove it from your computer. Uninstall it easily using these simple guidelines.

Click the Windows "Start" menu and click the "Control Panel."
Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" to launch the programs list if you are using Windows XP. For Windows Vista and 7 users, launch the programs list by clicking "Programs" and clicking "Programs and Features."
Scroll down and click "K9 Web Filter." Click "Remove/Uninstall." Click "Continue" on the Uninstall dialogue box. Select "Yes" to uninstall K9 Web Protection.
Type your K9 password and complete the uninstall. When prompted, restart your computer.
Click the "Apple" logo located on the top-right corner and click "Preferences."
Click "K9 Web Protection" to display the program's preferences. Click "Uninstall K9." When prompted, type your administrator password and click "OK."
Type your system password and click "OK" to remove the application from your computer. When prompted, restart your computer.
