How to Open JPG Files From Yahoo Mail With Picture Viewer

With Yahoo! email, you can download attached JPEG files from family and friends on your computer and use them as you please. This allows you to use the photos with other applications such as Picture Viewer. Picture Viewer is a free Windows application that enables you to preview pictures before using them on other applications, uploading to a portable player or website.

Instructions

Step 1

Logon to your email account using your username and password.
Step 2

Click "Check Mail" and open the email containing the JPEG picture attachment you want to download to your computer.
Step 3

Click "Download Attachment" and click "Save as." Select the folder you want to save the JPEG file in and type a name for the file. Click "Save." Repeat this same process to download additional JPEG files on your computer.
Step 4

Right-click your JPEG picture from the folder you saved it in and select "Open With." Click "Picture Viewer" to open your JPEG picture with Picture Viewer.
