A McAfee account requires a paid subscription each year, which may be charged to a bank account or credit card automatically near the end of the subscription date. A McAfee subscription can be cancelled at any point and the service remains active until the end of the paid subscription.
Go to the main page for McAfee Home users.
Click "Log In" in the top right corner of the page. Type in the email address associated with the McAfee subscription and the password. Click "Log In."
Click the "My Auto-Renewal Settings" link on the left side of the page, under the "My Account" menu.
Click "Turn Off" to disable the auto-renewal option.
