Mice and other vermin can invade your home, garden and garage. Mice and other rodents can directly transmit potentially fatal viruses and bacteria such as salmonella, hantavirus and leptospirosis. Use peppermint oil instead of potentially toxic rodenticides to deter mice and keep your home, children and pets free of these dangerous illnesses.

  2. 2

Place the mixture into a spray bottle.

Spray areas where mice have been found, such as in cabinets and underneath furniture. Spray areas that allow entrance into enclosed structures, such as door frames and the bottoms of windows.

  3. 3

Sprinkle oil directly onto items like the corners of flooring, furniture and bedding.
