CDA files are audio files that are found on audio CDs you can purchase in music stores. Converting these CDA files to MP3s will let you add the tracks to an MP3 player, giving you the option of listening to several different albums without having to change CDs in your CD player. The free Windows Media Player can be used to rip these CDA files from the CD onto the computer and save those as MP3s.
