The Yahoo! Toolbar is an application that installs in your Web browser and enables you to search for content on the Web anytime you want without navigating back and forth to the Yahoo! website. If you are no longer using the Yahoo! Toolbar, or prefer another toolbar such as Google, or the Dogpile toolbar, you can uninstall the Yahoo! Toolbar from your Windows Vista system quickly and easily regardless of whether you are using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Launch Mozilla Firefox, and click the "Tools" menu located on the top of the browser window. Scroll down the pop-up menu that launches and then click "Add-ons or "Extensions" depending on the version of Firefox that you are using. A new window will open.
Scroll down the new window, click the "Yahoo! Toolbar," and then click "Uninstall." When prompted, confirm that you want to uninstall the toolbar from your Windows Vista computer.
Close the add-ons or extensions manager window, and then restart your Web browser to complete the removal process.
Click the Windows "Start" button, and the "Control Panel." Click the "Programs and Features" link, and then click the "Programs" link to launch the programs window.
Scroll down the programs window, and click the "Yahoo! Toolbar." The Yahoo! Toolbar is located close to the bottom of the programs window. Click "Uninstall" and confirm that you want to remove the toolbar from your computer.
Close and restart your Web browser to complete the removal process.
