How to Play Music From Your Computer Through DVD Players

Some DVD players allow you to to play a variety of media files, including video and audio files. To play audio files from your computer onto your DVD player, you first must burn the audio files onto a DVD disc using a computer program, such as Windows Media Player, a free program on your computer.

    Turn on your computer, and left double-click on the Windows Media Player desktop icon.

    Open your DVD disc tray, and insert a blank re-writable DVD. Close the tray.

    Click on the "Burn" tab at the top of the Windows Media Player window.

    Click on and select the audio files you want to burn to the disc and drag them into the "Burn" section on the right side of the Windows Media Player.

    Click on the "Burn" button at the bottom of the window to burn the files to the disc. Once the file has been burnt onto the disc, remove the disc from the DVD tray, and insert it into your DVD player.
