How to Delete a Skype Contact

Skype is a popular instant messaging application that makes video chatting and Internet-based phone calls simple and useful. It includes a variety of features that allow you to communicate with family and friends all over the world. Just as you can add contacts to your Skype list, you can also remove the names of people you are no longer interested in communicating with. This process is simple for operating system that runs Skype.

Launch Skype on your computer and log into your account using your screen name and password.

Right click the Skype contact you want to delete. If you are using an Apple computer, you may need to hold down "Control" and click.

Select "Remove from Contacts."

Click "OK" to confirm and remove the contact from Skype. Repeat this process to delete additional contacts.


You can also select the contact you wish to delete, and press the "Delete" or "Backspace" key on your keyboard.
