  1. 1

Unclog the pump by running the spray pump under hot water. Or force hot water through the pump by submerging the plastic tube in a sink of hot water and pumping water through the nozzle.

  2. 2

Soak the soap dispenser pump overnight in hot water to unclog it.

  3. 3

Spray the dispenser pump parts with a lubricating oil. Let them sit for a half hour. Rinse several times with hot water.

  4. 4

Make sure the soap is not too thick. If it has recently been refilled, the soap may be too thick and you may need to add water to dilute it.

  5. 5

Replace the liquid soap dispenser top with a top from another empty soap dispenser or purchase a replacement top from an online wholesaler.
