How to get rid of a dark upper lip

A dark upper lip can be caused by many things, including the ageing process, bad quality cosmetics and drinking excessive quantities of coffee and tea. The problem may be unattractive, but there is a solution. And you don't have to buy an expensive over-the-counter product to lighten you upper lip. A mixture of lemon and honey will lighten your upper lip overnight while you are sleeping.

Mix 2 tablespoons of pure lemon juice and ½ tablespoon of honey in a plastic container.

Stir the mixture thoroughly with a spoon.

Wet a small cloth or towel with warm water.

Wipe your upper lip with the damp cloth or towel to remove any lipstick or make-up.

Dip a cotton ball into the container of lemon juice and honey.

Rub the lemon juice/honey mixture on to your upper lip.

Leave the lemon juice/honey mixture on your upper lip.

Place a lid on the plastic container and store the mixture in your refrigerator.

Apply the lemon juice/honey mixture each night before going to bed.


You can also apply the lemon juice/honey mixture throughout the day.
