Lasagne noodles can be transformed into many different dishes. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts can all be made from lasagne noodles. Lasagne noodles are often purchased in a dry state, but must always be cooked before adding them to any dish. This prevents the noodles from remaining hard, and reduces the chances of damaging teeth.
Heat a large stockpot of water until it's boiling, and add the dry lasagne noodles and 2 tablespoons of salt. Allow the noodles to cook for several minutes until soft. Drain the noodles. Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to the noodles, and set aside.
Brown the ground beef and the ground Italian sausage togther. Drain the meat so that the excess grease is removed.
Layer the marinara sauce, the ground beef and sausage mixture, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese and cooked lasagne in a baking dish.
Add the marinara sauce to the bottom of a baking dish. Next place a layer of lasagne noodles, and then another layer of marinara sauce. Add the ground beef and Italian sausage mixture. Place the ricotta cheese down and then add the mozzarella. Repeat the process.
Make sure that the marinara sauce is on the last layer. Cover the dish in mozzarella cheese and bake at 176 degrees Cor at least 45 minutes.
Heat water to boiling in a large stock pot and add the noodles. Add two tablespoons of salt to the water. Allow the noodles to cook until soft.
Drain the noodles. Place them into a large bowl and add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and mix gently. Set the noodles aside to cool. Once cool, cut the lasagne noodles into bit sized pieces with the kitchen shears.
Heat a skillet over a medium heat and add extra virgin olive oil until it is about half full.
Mix two eggs and three tablespoons of milk in bowl. Dip the lasagne noodles into the egg and milk mixture and then roll in Italian bread crumbs.
Fry the noodles until they are golden brown.
Prepare the noodles by boiling, cooling and cutting into shapes as indicated by the Breaded Lasagna Noodle section.
Fry the noodles in extra virgin olive oil until golden brown.
Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon together. Roll the hot fried pasta in the mixture and coat well. Set aside to cool.
