Paint by numbers is a popular painting technique that is fun for all ages. It is simple, and yet can yield beautiful results. A paint-by-numbers painting starts out as a black-and-white line drawing in which certain sections are numbered. The numbers have corresponding colours. The artist then colours in the drawing according to the numbers, and the original painting or photograph reveals itself. Using your computer, you can transform any photograph into a beautiful paint-by-numbers drawing.
