The Amazon Kindle is a device that allows you to store electronic books and read them at your leisure. One unique attribute of the Kindle is that you can buy your content with an "always on" wireless connection. Included in your purchase of the device is free Internet access to Sprint's 3G cellular network. You are not billed for this service. A browser is also provided with this device so you can have the ability to browse the Internet and check e-mail, in addition to buying electronic books online from Amazon.

Click the menu button on your Amazon Kindle 2nd Generation and scroll down to the Experimental menu. Push the square trackball in and the Experimental page will appear.

Click the menu button and select the Enter URL and type the Internet address of your e-mail provider. For example, if you were a Hotmail user, enter the URL

Type your login and password and you can successfully check your e-mail on Kindle. You also have the ability to browse any website that you wish. You can read e-mail, check news, and check the weather for free with the purchase of an Amazon Kindle.
