Pour three per cent hydrogen peroxide onto the affected area to cover it.
Soak a clean cloth in the hydrogen peroxide and place it directly onto the area in the wood.
Cover the cloth with cling film and place something on top of it to weight it down, such as a phone book.
Check the progress in an hour. The cloth should begin to discolour as it draws the urine out of the wood. Replace the cloth as needed and repeat until the stain and smell are gone.
