Having an automatic watering globe can eliminate the worry of forgetting to water your plants. With just a few items that you may already have around the house you can make your own automatic plant watering system that requires little maintenance.

  • Longneck glass bottle
  • dishwater
  • plant

Instructions

    Find a long neck glass bottle such as an empty wine bottle.

  2. 2

    Wash the bottle inside and out with warm dish water. Rinse it well.

  3. 3

    Fill the glass bottle with water.

  4. 4

    Dampen the soil of your potted plant.

  5. 5

    Place the glass bottle neck down into the soil, making sure the rim of the neck is firmly in the soil.

  6. 6

    Refill the bottle as needed.
