Go to the ABS-CBN website and check if your local cable service provider offers TFC. The major cable providers offer TFC, but if you live far from a metropolitan area or use a minor provider, check on the website first. Select your state from the drop-down menu, then locate your city among those listed.
Call your cable service provider or Direct TV provider and tell them to install TFC on your cable account. The Filipino Channel can be broadcasted through both avenues. Direct TV offers slightly more programs than the cable service provider, including Cinema One, ANC News, Kapamilya and Myx. Installation is free and ABS-CBN strongly recommends the use of the services of a professional technician.
Pay the additional premium. The premium for TFC is set by your cable company, which ranges anywhere from £26 to £65, depending on the number of channels and additional programming you wish to have.
Set an appointment with the cable technician to install equipment on your TV. You may need a cable box or a satellite to be able to stream TFC on your TV.
Check the schedule and watch TFC shows. If the channel is installed properly, you will be able to watch shows. Check the ABS-CBN website for full descriptions of the shows. You may also check online the time slots for your favourite programs.
