- DSL filter
Place your Linksys Wag200g in a well vented area, near your computer, a power outlet and a phone jack. Plug a DSL phone filter on the phone jack nearest your Wag200g.
Connect your Wag200g to the phone jack. Insert one end of a phone cable into the port labelled "DSL" on the filter, and plug the other end of the cable into the white "DSL" port on the back of your router/modem.
Connect the Wag200g to your computer. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on your computer's network card, and plug the other end of the cable into one of the yellow Ethernet ports on the back of the router. You can use the additional Ethernet ports to supply other computers with a wired connection.
Insert the tip of the power adaptor into the power port on the back of your Wag200g--and then plug the router into a power outlet.
Turn on your computer. Type "192.168.1.1" into the address bar of your computer's web browser. Type in your operating system's log-on password if prompted. Use the Linksys menu that appears to personalise your home network.
