However, the JavaScript feature is not always activated, which can hinder you from viewing a lot of websites. By enabling the JavaScript on your computer, you will enhance your Internet browsing experience and enjoy all that the interactive websites have to offer.

    Internet Explorer

    Open your Internet Explorer browser.

    Click "Tools."

    Select "Internet Options."

    Choose the "Security" tab, and then click on "Custom Level."

    Locate the "Scripting" section and click "Enable" under "Active Scripting." Click "OK" to close out of the window.

    Open your Firefox browser.

    Click "Tools."

    Select "Options."

    Click on "Content."

    Put a check in the box beside "Enable JavaScript." Click "OK" to close out of the window.

    Open your Safari Browser.

    Click on "Preferences."

    Select "Security."

    Place a check in the box that is beside "Enable JavaScript." Click "OK" to close out of the window.

Tips & Warnings

  • Disable JavaScript by following the same protocol. The only difference is that you will remove the check from the "Enable JavaScript" box instead of putting a check in the box.
