The Ask Toolbar is a simple easy to use navigation program that allows you to search for images, products and web items easily without having to constantly navigate back to Ask.com website. As a web browser add-on, this program also allows you to search e-mails and your desktop directly from your web browser. Removing the Ask Toolbar completely is an easy task, especially if you have more than enough search toolbars on your web browsers.

    Close any running web browsers. Click "Start" on your computer screen and choose "Control Panel."

    Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" on the control panel window. A new window will open up showing the programs installed on your computer.

    Click "Ask.com Bar" and then click "Remove." Click "Yes" to confirm and uninstall the search tool bar. Launch your web browser.
