T-Mobile HotSpots are wireless Internet networks that are set up at hundreds of different businesses across the country. These hotspots use T-Mobile cellular technology to allow you to check your email or surf the Web while you shop. Most T-Mobile HotSpots will require you to pay a certain fee for Internet access either hourly or daily (depending on where you go), but there are a few different ways to get free Wi-Fi at one of these locations.

Instructions

  1. 1

Use one of the T-Mobile HotSpot locations that are already free. Not all T-Mobile HotSpots require money for Internet access. Certain locations, such as Borders and Barnes & Noble bookstores, allow you to log on free of charge for however long you'd like, just as long as you agree to T-Mobile's terms of use and conditions for the Internet connection that you're being provided.

  2. 2

Use your T-Mobile email address to log in for free at any T-Mobile HotSpot in the country. If you have a T-Mobile service contract for either cellular service or Internet service, you can use the email address you were provided with to log onto the Internet for free at any HotSpot location no matter where the service is being provided.

  3. 3

Purchase a Sony PSP hand-held game console (see References). When you purchase a new Sony PSP game console an offer is included in the box that will allow you to access the Internet for free at T-Mobile HotSpots nationwide for six months. All you have to do is follow the directions on the ticket to redeem your offer and log on using your Sony PSP (and your PSP's Web browser).
