In fact he love life is one of the hottest pieces of gossip around. No matter what she does though, she's seldom without her trusty headband and this is an easy look to pull off.

Instructions

  1. 1

Find a headband with a bow on one side. A small bow is perfect for night, but a larger one makes a dramatic impression at night while prowling the town. Blair very seldom ever wears a headband without a classic bow on the side.

  2. 2

Match the headband with your outfit or event. Blair wears a preppy white headband when clad in a lace dress or a dark blue one to match her school uniform. At night she reaches for brighter colours like red and purple.

  3. 3

Opt for an expensive headband or one that at least looks expensive. Blair is known for wearing luxurious and expensive clothing and accessories. She expects the same things from her hair accessories like a headband.

  4. 4

Place the headband on top of your head and push it back slightly. You want it to slide past your ears, while still holding your hair back. Touch the upper right hand side of your head and gently pull on the hair until a small amount slides out from the headband.

  5. 5

Apply a dab of gel to this piece of hair just to keep it in place. If you watch the show, you'll notice that Blair usually has a small amount of hair on the right side escaping from the headband. Complete the look by arranging gentle curls on the back and sides of your head.

Tips and warnings

  • Try adding a little bit of hairspray to make sure you keep your look going all night.
  • Look for pictures of Blair on "Gossip Girl" for inspiration when it comes to picking out a headband or matching the accessory to your outfit.
