Click on the up or down arrow next to the video effects choices (usually avatars or face accessories) to choose which type of video effect you would like. Roll your mouse over the avatar choices to see how the effects behave and what their level of complexity is.

Now that you've decided which video effect you would like to use, make sure you have your Logitech QuickCam cable plugged in to your computer and open up your QuickCapture (or make sure you can see a live picture of yourself in your video if you are using a host site such as Skype).

  6. 6

Click on your chosen Logitech QuickCam video effect's icon then click the green play button on the right of the icon in the top portion of the video effects window. Your system will calibrate the image of your face to make sure the effect is coordinated with your facial movements. Once you are satisfied with the calibration click "accept." You should now see your video effect in your video viewing screen.
