- Baking soda
- Brown sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Baking tray
- Mixing bowl
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
Crack two eggs in a large mixing bowl and make sure you remove any pieces of shell.
Add the following ingredients to your mixing bowl: 1 cup of melted butter, 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, 1 dash of salt, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Use a mixer to combine all of the ingredients. Make sure there are no lumps before adding the M&Ms.
Fold in 1 cup of M&Ms with a spatula (don't use the mixer or it could break open the M&M shells).
Place one spoonful of cookie dough at a time on your baking tray. Make them about 1 inch apart from each other. Place the baking tray in the oven.
Cook for 10 minutes and remove from the oven. Wait for the cookies to cool before eating them.
Tips and warnings
- Substitute plain M&Ms; with peanut M&Ms.;
- Keep your cookies in a tin to keep them fresh or give them away as a present.
- Use oven gloves to remove the baking tray from the oven.
