Fossil watches are largely reliable timepieces. Unfortunately, the batteries in them are harder to replace than in most watches because they are pressurised and sealed. This article will tell you just what needs to be done so that you're on time for that next lunch or dinner date.
Locate the slots on the back plate of the watch.
Insert the corner of the screwdriver into one slot and use it to spin the plate counterclockwise.
Remove the nylon cover on the interior of the watch by prying it up with the flathead screwdriver.
Depress the spring that holds the battery catch with the screwdriver until it releases.
Replace the battery.
Follow these steps in reverse to reseal the watch.
The spring is under tension. When removing it, be careful not to lose it.
