Scratches on the car are easy to come across. It could be from the little old lady that parked way too close or the careless person who bumped into the car and caught a metal button on it. For those who don't want to spend tons of money at the bodyworks garage, there is a simple solution that won't be a drain on finances or time.

Things you need
- Polish compound with very mild abrasive
- Liquid car wax

Test the mild polishing compound on an inconspicuous part of the car such as inside the boot or under the bonnet to ensure that it won't be too abrasive. Remember to use the mildest abrasive possible.
Use a damp sponge to apply a mild polishing compound to the scratch.
Scrub in a circular motion until the scratch is no longer visible.
Apply liquid wax to a different sponge and buff the area in a circular motion.
