Instructions

  1. 1

Purchase the needed materials. Go to your local grocery store, Wal-Mart or any place you can get your favourite candy bars at a decent price. Get the candy bars in regular and fun size. Floral foam can be bought at local craft stores while coloured cellophane can be bought at most party stores.

  2. 2

Prepare the container. Your chocolate bar bouquet can go into any kind of container that you want. You can use empty coffee or formula cans, a vase or a mug. If using one of the cans, you can also decorate the can with wrapping paper. Place a piece of floral foam into the container you decided to use. You can use styrofoam instead of floral foam.

  3. 3

Glue the skewers to the candy bars. Heat the glue gun and when it's ready, glue the wooden skewers to the backs of the candy bars. If the container is on the short side, then make sure that the skewers aren't too long. Cut or break them to get the right size before gluing to the candy bars. You can attach the candy bars and skewers with tape also.

  4. 4

Put the cellophane on the candy bars. Cut out squares of different coloured cellophane big enough to fit over all the candy bars. Poke a hole in the middle of the square with the sharp end of the skewer and pull it up until it reaches the bottom of the candy. Gently pull it up so that the entire chocolate bar is covered and then tie the top together with a piece of curly ribbon or tape. Do this to all of the candy bars.

  5. 5

Arrange candy bars in container. Stick the chocolate bar skewers into the container. You can have all of the candy bars at the same height or push some deeper into the floral foam to create a look of fullness in your bouquet. When the bouquet is arranged the way you want, add some shred or basket filler to the container to hide the floral foam. You can make as many bouquets as you want with many different candy bars. Now give the chocolate bar bouquet to someone special.
