Snow globes are often associated with Christmastime. There are indeed many Christmas-themed snow globes sold in stores during the holiday season. However, one can find snow globes based upon sports, movies or any other hobby you can come up with. Finding these items in a local mall isn't incredibly difficult. Purchasing older snow globes, though, can be more of a challenge.

Instructions

  1. 1

Visit Steve's Collectibles. Steve's offers free shipping to all orders in the United States £16 and over. Click on the “Water Globes/Snow Globes/Snow Domes” link on the left side of the screen. Once you do, you will see a list of different snow globes. The amount of snow globes sold by Steve's fluctuates during the year, so check back periodically to find different items.

  2. 2

Buy vintage snow globes from Dolly's Antique Eclectic Store. An eBay store, Dolly's sells pages of classic Christmas ornaments including snow globes. Items aren't separated, so you will have to search for vintage snow globes among other items. Don't worry as there are plenty of snow globes to choose from.

  3. 3

Go to In Her Majesty's Service. This website sells both vintage Christmas and vintage assorted snow globes. Click the “Snow Globes & Waterdomes” link on the left side of the page to search through the different categories of assorted snow globes, or choose the “A Snowglobe Christmas” link to find globes with a holiday theme. You can also select the “PERZY Vienna, Austria Snow Globes” link to browse by brand name.

Shop on Snowdomes. Snowdomes sells both newer and older snow globes. Use the links on the left side of the screen to shop by category. The snow globes sold on Snowdomes are not separated by age, but older ones will be labelled as such (either have “Vintage” or “Classic” in the title).
