How to Replace the Wiper Blades on a Toyota Corolla

Driving in adverse weather conditions can be quite scary. Whether it be rain, sleet or snow, anything that impairs your vision and makes the road slick is certainly a hazard. This is why it is imperative to have properly functioning wiper blades for your windshield. Here's how to change the wiper blades on your Toyota Corolla in just a few minutes.

Check to see which style of "blade claw" your Toyota Corolla uses. This will be determined by the year of your vehicle. Toyota used three different "claws," notated as A, B or C throughout the years. When you purchase your wiper blade pack, just be sure to purchase the corresponding model year so that the "claws" line up.

Stand your wiper arms up so that they are perpendicular to the windshield of your car. This position will allow you to easily access the wiper blades for removal.

Press the tab which is found on the underside in the center of the wiper arm.

Pull the old wiper blade out. (Make sure that you're still pressing down on the tab.)

Replace the wiper blades with new ones from your wiper blade pack. Once you've removed the old wiper blade, you'll be left with a "U" shaped attachment exposed on the wiper blade arm. Simply slide the new blades in and listen for them to "click" into place. (Keep the tab pressed down as you perform this action.)

Repeat this process on the other wiper arm. Then return the wiper arm to their normal positions against the windshield.
