Chicken is the all-around versatile dish, one that you can prepare in many ways and is always is delicious. A popular way to cook chicken is by baking it or broiling it in the oven. One easy way to prepare chicken involves using lemon and pepper for seasoning. Using the breast meat will ensure that you are using the leanest and healthiest part of the chicken to make a delicious meal.

Preheat your oven on bake to 190 degrees C (375 degrees F).

Prepare the chicken for cooking. Preparation is rather simple for this dish. Cut a small hole in the lemon and squeeze the juice onto the chicken breasts. Then season with salt and pepper evenly.

Cook the chicken breast. Lay the chicken spaced evenly on a broiling pan or in a baking pan. Allow to cook for 20 to 25 minutes.

Tip

Mashed potatoes and corn make a great side to compliment this quick fix dish.

Warning

Cut a chicken breast open to assure that it is fully cooked. If it is slightly pink then cook it for another five to 10 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after touching raw meat.
