How to make a malted milkshake

Updated April 17, 2017

Malted milkshakes are a fun throwback to the fifties and are incredibly easy to make. Here are some very simple instructions to make your next milkshake a little tastier.

Add two scoops of your favourite flavour of ice cream to your blender. If you plan on adding flavoured syrup than vanilla is your best bet.

Pour 120 ml (1/2 cup) of milk into your blender. If you want to be creative, add banana, strawberry, chocolate or vanilla flavoured milk.

Add about 35 ml (2 tbsp) of malted milk. Malted milk is easy to find at your local grocery store.

If you are feeling adventurous, add some flavoured syrup. Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and hazelnut syrups would all be a tasty addition.

Blend into a thick liquid and enjoy.
