  1. 1

Soak dry, cracked skin in a moisturising bubble bath. Cut an Ivory soap bar into small chucks. In a blender, combine the Ivory soap chunks, 1/4 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of water. Blend the ingredients until smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl. Add a few drops of essential oil for a light fragrance. Wash and dry your blender. Add one cup of oatmeal to the blender and grind until a powder is formed. Add the ground oatmeal into the soap mixture. Use in the bath or pour into a decorative jar for later use.

  2. 2

Scrub away dead skin with a body scrub. Combine one cup of sea salt and 1/2 cup of massage oil in a bowl. Stir and add 10 drops of lavender essential oil. After your bubble bath, towel dry your skin and apply the scrub to your body. Rinse in the shower. The scrub can be stored in a jar or air tight container and given as a gift.

  3. 3

Relax your feet with a foot scrub. Combine 6 drops of rosemary essential oil, 6 drops of peppermint oil, and 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Add 1 cup of cornmeal to the oil mixture. Cover the mixture and allow it to set for one hour. Mix in a couple of drops of lemon essential oil. Apply to feet and rinse. The scrub can be kept in a jar.

  4. 4

Moisturise dry skin with a body butter or oil. Combine 4 tablespoons of melted coconut butter or oil, 4 tablespoons of macadamia oil, 4 tablespoons of almond oil and 1/2 teaspoon of liquid vitamin E. Add 12 drops of essential oils of your choosing that will work well with a coconut scent. For example, you can use 4 drops frankincense, 4 drops sandalwood and 4 drops orange essential oil. Apply to your body after towel drying. Store the oil or butter in an air tight container.

  5. 5

Refresh your face with a mask. Combine 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon of honey and 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. Apply to your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Store the facial mask in an air tight container.
