How to protect yourself from psychic attacks

If you've recently experienced a loss of energy or you've been feeling depressed, tired or as if something just isn't right, you may be under some form of psychic attack. Negative thoughts and feelings directed at you can affect your health and wellbeing -- but the good news is that there are ways in which you can protect yourself from harmful vibrations and unwanted intentions from a person who might want to cause us harm or distress.

  • Black Tourmaline or Obsidian gemstone

    Protection Options

  1. 1

    Ground yourself by sitting on a natural surface of grass or soil. Place both feet flat and connected to the earth. Use your imagination to visualise a silver cord connecting you to the centre of the earth. Hold the visualisation until you feel energised, protected and fully connected to nature.

    Release fear and negativity through meditation and prayer. Seek out the protection and guidance of spirits and guardian angels. Ask others to pray for you so that you receive inner strength and spiritual protection. Ask an energy worker for assistance.

    Visualise a white light of protective energy surrounding you. Repeat positive and protective affirmations. Practice deep breathing and relaxation techniques to assist you.

    Mix two teaspoons of either Black Obsidian, Pyrite or Black Tourmaline concentrate with one cup of water. Place the mixture in a small spray container and spray yourself and the areas you wish to cleanse.

    Place a few inches of sand in a bowl measuring 4 to 5 inches (12.7 centimetres) in diameter. Scatter a few dried white sage leaves and light the leaves with a match. Once lit blow out the flame and allow the leaves to smoke. Pass the smoke around you and carry the bowl into other areas of your home.

Tips and warnings

  • Carry a Black Tourmaline or Obsidian gemstone with you in your pocket. Hold it in your hand when you feel attacked, or when you’re in an environment that makes you feel uneasy. Use the right pocket and hand to release stored negative energy and the left pocket and hand to draw in negative energy from the environment so that it can be released. Wash the gemstone daily and leave it out in sunlight and moonlight every three days to recharge it.
  • Be careful not to surround yourself with people who have negative energies -- they can affect your aura.
  • Smoking, alcohol and taking drugs can severely weaken your aura and leave you open to negative vibrations and energies.
