The Air Miles loyalty scheme was renamed Avios in 2011, but many people still refer to Avios as Air Miles. Avios can be redeemed to cover all or part of the cost of flights with British Airways and other participating airlines. They can also be used to pay for hotels, car hire, Eurostar train travel and various special offers and one-off events. You can earn Avios in many different ways. These include flying with participating airlines, spending on Avios reward credit cards, trading supermarket loyalty points for Avios and shopping online via the Avios eStore.
